I getting ready to buys some rims and i was thinking of going with 20" 295 in the back. i really want them to be wide. so would that be the widdest i could go? or is it a good idea to even go that wide?

Welcome to the forum. Please do NOT type in all caps, its annoying.

You don't want to put 295 in the back, or it will stick out. 285 fits flush with the fender

It does? Because I'm pretty sure that my 295s on my 18x10 rims sit perfectly FLUSH with the fender. They look amazing and I get countless compliments on them...

You can always use wheel spacers like I'm intend to use on my stock 18s to give you that look...

I have 20/295's(r) and 20/255(f)and they stick out just a tad, just enough to give it a mean stance. There's no rub, no need for spacers, although I believe if you went ANY wider, or if you dropped the ride height,you'd probably have some problems with rub.

I have 315 for width on the rear. They do stick out about1/2 ofan inchm maybe less. Mate of mine has 305 width on the rear and they appear to be perfectly flush. They're Nitto DRs. Very good on wet roadways butdon't use them for the track

Here's a picture of my *** running 285's I think they are plenty wide enough. In fact I am always getting comments about it. The comment is usually Holy crap that a fat *** tire on the back.

Richard, it's something about the tread on those tires that just make them look soooo fat, it's amazing, I really wish my treads looked like that to be honest.
