Oh, BTW, for those affected by the new tune such as TJ. Evidently the cars have a torque limiter built into the PCM. The car reads the torque output relative to the throttle position and if the torque level is too high, such as with a S/C, compared to stock it will failsafe and shut down. This issue is what was causing our problems with the new software. To overcome this JDM told me they went back and started with the stock Saleen tune as a baseline, and then added their tweaks from there. Hope this helps.
Glad to hear you're up and running.
Is the torque limiter an issue for only autos?

No mine had the same issue with tuning with the turbo and I have a 5 speed

What was the final result of all this? Did the issue get resolved? I have approached JDM myself for a CAI and tune for my Saleen VI SC, however these issues have me scared off. I'd rather have my Saleen flash and no issues than have codes thrown.

Steve, I just emailed ya.....JDM knows their stuff...it was some isolated incidents....dont let that scare ya off...I mean nothing will beat a custom tune from a REPUTABLE tuner.....call Justin at VMP tunes...he has allot of tunes as well that he can work with....

Wow, bringing back a thread. The re-tune by JDM had a bad hesitation off idle and upshifted too soon, so I was running a demo tune by VMP with an 85mph speed limiter on it until I could get to a dyno.

I finally had a custom dyno tune by Realspeed, after 5 1/2 hrs we netted 382rwhp on a Mustang Dyno. You can see the post and dyno sheet here. https://mustangforums.com/m_3236716/tm.htm

I have an appt w/JDM on July, 2nd too. We'll see if they can get anymore out of this pulley. I'm looking for 425-450rwhp on a DYNOJET. So I'll have them do a baseline run first on their DynoJet, this should give all of us, finally, a good example of the exact difference in rwhp between the 2 dyno types.

If I'm below 420 I'll ask for a pulley swap. I'll let you all know the oucome, as usual.
