Was about 95-100 degrees out, basically rode 30 miles in 5th gear, mostly in cruise control, sometimes not, was between 65-85mph. Got off the freeway to check my mpg, 27.5! These are economy cars!

 

hahahaha, no there not... because you were checking your milage so of course you drive without having fun... ! economy cars is like flooring the car everywhere you go and still being able to drive 200 miles on a tank of gas... nice try though... kind of interesting 27.5 highway milage!

 

These cars can get some pretty decent mileage. A month or two back, I drove from Tucson to Phoenix (about 110 miles) and planted the cruise control at 60 mph got 30.0 mpg.

 

i get decent mileage going downhill, but that's about it

Remember to include a few stop and go's in your calculations! Otherwise your MPG estimate will be as fake as this one!

lol I did that to my buddy that also has a s197 but it read 36 mpg he was like how did u do it, took him a few minutes to realize how i did it lol

 

Lol my MPG isn't a fake number like that, we all know how to do that, hell you can do that uphill. Mine is the actual drive I make to school 2x a week. Its about a 40 mile drive, 30 being freeway. Got 27.5 on freeway, 26.2 from house-freeway-school. So hate on my number all you want!

Yeah, that seems to be close to what I'm averaging too..... and loving every minute of it!!!
