Default UDP Vs. CMCV

I am about to put a full exhaust on the car by Dynatech (longtube headers and catted x pipe). I also was planning on putting on underdrive pulleys and CMCV economy delete plates. Should I do all three or are the CMCV plates really not worth it? Are the underdrive pulleys worth it? How will they affect the other appliances in the car? Either way, I am planning on having the car dynoed before and after the mods...

I'm doing the UDPs this weekend. I know you get a few extra horses from them and you don't really see a difference in the appliances. The AC takes a little longer to cool the car, but thats about it. I heard the delete plates help some also. You can do a search on both and tons of information on this forum.

thanks, im still debating whether to do CMCV delete plates and stage 3 cams by comp cams, or finish off the exhaust with dynatech and udp's and the cmcv delete plates, and wait for later on to do cams...

I'd take the moneyfor the cams and put it towards a power adder. Here's a thread on the cams:
https://mustangforums.com/m_3162444/tm.htmAlso, have you considered the ARH headers?
I just got a set of delete plates in the mail today and I've read from others that have them that they are a worthwhile investment forsmall money. I think they're much safer than UDP's and cheaper for similar gains. I'm not a fan ofpulleys because thealternator has to work a lot harder to keep up with demand.

Wouldn't the UDPs and the Delete Plates together make a hefty HP gain... total of 20hp? Wouldn't you feel that?

I can't say what the actual combined hp figure would be but whatever it is should be noticeable. Since I've no plans on doing UDP's I guess I'll never know. I'd rather do something like a lighter one piece driveshaft.

mods dont stack like that all the time, they work together to get gains usually. You would get closer to 15 probably. And yes you would feel it.

Also if you get the UDP and the electric water pump the waterpump will give u like 2-3 hp or so.
