Default 4.10's installed!!!

So I chose to go 4.10's instead of longtubes after weighing the pro's and con's and i decided to go 4.10's . . . GO MF CHOICE!!!!

4.10's improved my acceleration greatly, i was running 13.0 before the throttle body and my new gears. . . the car is def 12.7's or so now. . . soon as i get good weather and a test n tune day, im there . . .

So if your skeptical with the gears. . . go for it, you will not be disappointed . . .

if you're near the Cincinatti area, Modular Depot does them perfectly . ..

i showed up with nothing, the provided everything and installed them for $539

4.10's FTW!!!!

+1!!! I'm looking into 3.73s but need some help too. Who makes them?? I heard Ford didn't make the 3.70's. Sorry for sort of jacking the thread.

From my conversations with BlueStar 3:73s' you will run about 3000 rpms'at 100 Mph. I have 4:10s' and I run 85 Mph at 3000rpms'. For your information the 4:10s' will make your car lightning fast at any motion. Launching 0-60 or kicking *** on the interstate. Your car will be unfair against anyone. That's my opinion. A course I also have a Brenspeed tune too and with the gears your gonna love it. I like to know about the 3:73s' myself. I really hate to give up what I have now but the engine would take lower rpms on the 3:73s' but how much are we gonna lose on that throttle response. Blue Star if you read this would you tell me how those shortys and x-pipe works for you. If it didn't cost much for install I may like it just for the extra V-8 sound.
