I does lower you top speed. You'll only be able to do 175 instead of 210, lol! People that claim you won't be able to hit 155+ are just blowing smoke.

ok all....i have 4:10s.....although i've only tried it once.....and it was on a deserted highway (3 lanes each way)that i am very familiar with....i pegged the speedo i reckon it was about 155... still felt like i was inching faster, but i shut 'er down.......so not that im proud of the moment.....but I was just tired of ppl preaching about how you'd lose top-end speed down to like 130or so.....and 4th gear on the highway pulls like nobody's business

My wife wants kids and **** like that! supercharger > kids IMHO!
Sorry I dug up an old post, i was using the search function.
You can have kids and a supercharger, make payments on the kids. Plus the kids will love the car with 4:10's, just seeing the big smiles on their faces when they get pushed back in the seat from the added acceleration was worth it for me.
