Suh weet!!!I've thought about going with a similar setup, except with a stroker kit which displaces 5.0L.

Since you're aiming for 550RWHP, why an iron shortblock? I hear the stock aluminum block is capable of 700hp? all you had to do is order a forged rotating assembly and be done! I'm going F/I and planning the same..except with a lower compression, about 8.5:1 for some 14-18psi of boost.[sm=badbadbad.gif]

It would have been that easy if my stock block didnt have two fist sized holes in it. I needed a new block and for a new aluminum short block it was 4695 with a 1000 dollar core charge so i went with the iron block insteadmaybe the next time it chunks a rod it wont go through the block.

Can you put a stroker in without some (Head/Cam) upgrades?

BTW your ride looks awesome man!

I would go with some stage 2 heads are stage three heads if i was going that route.

I am waiting for the engine to be installed before i release the carnage photos.......they are pretty gruesome.

The heads on these engines are the 2nd biggest pieces of crap next to the rods. I'll definitely be going with different heads.
