What do you all think would be the best axleback fora 2005 mustang gt 5spd? Also what is a good CAI that will give me better mileage and better power? What is a good tuner- i was looking at an xcalibrator 2- is it any good? I might be running nitrouslater and i plan to put lots of mods into my car. Also what is a good clutch- Spec Stage 2 any good? I am also thinking about putting a MGW shortshifter its suposed to be pretty good. ANY SUGGESTIONS WELCOME,THANKS!

best axlebacks? either Borla/FRPP/Steeda (same thing), mac, or slp loudmouths.
best CAI? either C&L (race or street) or JLT
best tuner? SCT LIVEWIRE
best clutch? stock is great, otherwise mcleod; don't know if they make one for this car tho. spec stage 2 is fantastic.

Axlebacks: Personal preference, I don't think there is a 'best'.
CAI: C&L and JLT are the two most popular.
Tuner: Any tuner from SCT or Diablosport are great. See which tuner your local dyno shop works with and then buy accordingly.
Clutch: No idea.

Axle backs, go to mustangexhaust.com and choose your poison. CAI's Airaid, C&L, JLT etc...etc.(must get a tune to be effective) Tuner SCT X-cal-2 is the weapon of choice. Custom tunes from one of our sponsors is a must. Enjoy.

thanks, i am wanting a real deep rumble and really loud, i dont want it quiet at any rpm level, but i dont want any rasp or drone-can someone think of a axleback like this?

SLP Loudmouths.

If thats not loud enough, O/R X-Pipe + SLP Loudmouths.

If thats still not loud enough, Long tube headers + O/R X-pipe + SLP Loudmouths.
