I know many people like many different axle-back exhausts, but can I get some opinions from people as to if they like the Magnaflows (not the packs) or Flowmasters better?

As far as sound = Flowmaster. As far as quality = Magnaflow.

I second that opinion. I have had both setups, Flowmasters were too loud. I now have magnaflows and it sounds perfect. I think both are ok for N/A cars, but I would stick to the Magnaflow if you are looking into S/C or turbo setup. The local muffler shop has a cross section of both, I was amazed too see that the flowmasters have "V" shaped wedges inside the chambers, versus the Magnaflows mandrel bent "S" shape throughout.On a 475RWHP setup such as mine, I don't want to restrict the exhasut flow whatsoever, not to mention I developed rattling sounds inside the flowmasters, most likely I warped a baffle or something while racing it under WOT.

i have had both and magnaflow is the best IMO. got that famous flowmaster "drone" and promptly got rid of them. my maggies sound great too.....

I have some magnaflow catback mufflers for sale....They are pretty quiet though from the inside of the cab

Flowmasters on these cars don't sound "like" Flowmasters. From the soundclips I've heard, JBAs sound more like Flowmasters sound on a Mustang (5.0L or 4.6L 2v & 4v).
