heres how you do it. its extremely possible.

5.2L stroker kit from Sean Hyland with 11:1 or maybe even 12:1 or flattop pistons
Bore .020 over
fully race ported heads
monster custom grind cams with fully reworked valvetrain
stainless works full 3" exhaust
C&L race CAI
UDP's
electric water pump
bigger fuel pump/injectors
oil cooler/pump
aluminum flywheel
spec stage 3 clutch
carbon fiber d/s
4.30 gears
detroit locker rear end
front/rear swaybar delete
BMR custom radiator support
LCA/UCA/panhard/all that suspension stuff, fully built
stripped interior/weight savings
MT slicks
Bogart bigs n' littles

if this doesn't get you into the 10's, you need help.

a lot of the effort should be put into dialing in the suspension. MMFF got a stick GT to run 12.51 with a CAI/tune as the only horsepower adding bolt on; the rest was done with suspension/weight savings (FULL INTERIOR) and aluminum D/s.

oh yea............and this was with stock 3.55's

Uhhh... Change that to a high stall converter.
How about Racing fuel with a tune for the fuel.

why would you put a stall converter in stick car?
if it was auto, id say yes put a 4500 converter in that bitch, but im talkin about a stick car, less parasitic losses

good idea with the racing fuel tune; i didn't think of that.

but hey if u will want hp.. aim for hellion turbo kits.. 1000+hp .....

Anybody here read MM&FF?????? Ever hear of Project Stocker? That's an old hat fox-body. Imagine the possibilities with this car!

Getting one of these cars into the 10's NA is nowhere near impossible. Drag racing is an enigma in that the cart is more important thatn the horse. NHRA Stock Eliminator cars run ridiculous times with STOCK motors. They even have full interiors - the rules say so. They are allowed a max 9" wide slick. Why do you think that is? SUSPENSION SUSPENSION SUSPENSION. Too many people seem to think all they need is drag radials, skinnies, ansd a swaybar delete and now it's a drag setup. Wrong. Everybody know how to bolt on parts but very few know how to properly tune it. You don't just bolt $hit on and go yank 1.4's all nite. It just doesn't work that way. Burcham got one in the 11's with bolt ons. A 5.1 liter stroker with a well tuned suspension can get well into the 10's. Easy. EASY.

def' not cheap lol - but EASY
