ORIGINAL: AmericanMuscle4.6GT

a lot of the effort should be put into dialing in the suspension. MMFF got a stick GT to run 12.51 with a CAI/tune as the only horsepower adding bolt on; the rest was done with suspension/weight savings (FULL INTERIOR) and aluminum D/s.

oh yea............and this was with stock 3.55's

you forgot to add they were running Drag Radials....or Slicks... cant remember quite right.
haha yea full slicks n' skinnies actually. they yanked a tire on launch.

You need:
Racing Seats
Rear Seat Delete
5.2L Stroker
39LB Injectors
Higher Hp Supporting Fuel Pump
Windage Tray
Oil Pan
Higher Flowing Fuel Rails
Remove all sound deadening material
Remove Carpet & replace with Dynomat
Bogart 15" Wheels
Slicks
Carbon Fiber Body Panels
Spoiler Delete
Aluminum Driveshaft
Safety Loop
A/C Delete
Stereo Delete
C&l Racer
103 Octane Race Fuel
udp's
cmdp's
electric water pump
gt500 throttle body
k-member
QA1 Coil-Over Suspension
torque limiters + k-member brace
subframe connectors
lca's
adjustable uca's
longtubes + midpipe
a-arms
P&P'd Heads
Crane Stage 4 Cams (552 intake lift,600 exhaust lift)
Battery Relocation Kit
Spec Clutch
Aluminum Flywheel
4:30 or 4:56 Gears
swaybar removal + lightweight radiator support
VCT Delete(Cause super high lift cams)
Higher Stall Converter

Then maybe. But it would be a super rough idling, unstreetable car. It's not worth it IMO. Just shoot for high 11's. Thats a more realistic goal you couldset while still having a streetable car.

4.88 gears?

4.56, maybe. i think it'd really be pushing it. but 4.88's? ehhh i dunno. 1st and 2nd would be useless. maybe with a 2 or 3 speed auto or something.

Well you would need the high gearing to launch down the track quickly. I guess 4:56 are enough.
