I can't personally say. Because I don't have one. But yeah, there is no whine with the KB. But you wont be disappointed with either.
Uh, The KB definitely has a whine to it...but yes, you will not be disappointed with either

The Kenne Bell on our cars @ 8-10 psi has no whine at all, but that is about all I would go on a stock block.
Go to modular(will not let me put in link)fords and do a belt tensioner search.
With my Kenne Bell @ 8psi I bent 3 tensioners broke 2 belts and dented 1 hood.
Every time I drive I worry about bending the tensioner.
If I had to do it again I would get the Saleen with the JDM tune.

I love my saleen and I am making big numbers on an all stock internal motor. I am now toying with the idea of F/I's and swapping the heads out. My tech that does most of the work told me with F/I's and upgrading to a 3.0 pulley with Heads/Cams I will have no problem being at the 600RWHP mark. that's more than enough power for me.

You obviously aren't talking to the guys who make real power over at that site. ron, (94Tbird) was the ONLY guy still bending tensioners and once he finally got off his butt and got Adam';s frankentensioner, he hasn't had any problems. If you were tweaking tensioners at 8 psi - It sounds to me like an install problem and something being out of alignment.

It has no whine I agree cause you aren't using it...lol as I said, turn it up and it screams.

With an 8 rib set-up from KB or GI Joe, and Adam's frankentensioner, you won't bend a tensioner. I run 17 psi on the street and have no tensioner or belt issues at all.

The Saleen would be 3rd on my list of s/c far behind the Whipple or KB. Just ask why no one can run 16+ psi on the saleen? I'll tell you - it won't handle it...lol

Jim Dick'Amore is a crook too and I wouldn't give him a penny.[:@]
