You're refering to the deletes?

Get the FRPP and save yourself some money.

is it safe to say that they work like a vacuum operated secondary on a carb? opening slower so as not to interrupt manifold vacuum?

WOW - I just found out Steeda fought their patent on the deletes and Ford had to stop selling them. THEN, Steeda raised their price to $319.00 after Ford had to stop selling them.

Shame, the Ford's were the same and 1/2 the price.

Steeda is still going after Pro 5.0 for the shifter patent. Guess they'll win that one too...

Oh well, you are stuck with the steedas. Try ebay and maybe someone still has a set of the FRPP up for grabs.

They delete the butterfly valves altogether.

You can still get the FRRP version directly from Steeda. Only difference is they're now calling them "economy plates". It's a marketing scheme to get you to think you need the CNC Machined $300 version they made. Anyways here's the link to Steedas site where you can score the "Econo" aka FRRP plates for $139. Yes I know FRRP use to sell them for $99 but that's what happens when one company has a monopoly.
