I do agree that if you plan on getting more mods in the near future to wait for a custom tune till then but I also want to say that people who tell you that you don't get much out of tuning alone don't have a very good tuner working on their car.

With nothing more than good gas and a tune, I have seen the average car pick up almost a 1/2 second just from tuning!

Adam tuned a GT500 yesterday bone stock and made 483 to the wheels with nothing more than tuning. Could have made 510 with some race gas on top.

The secret to tuning is to be able to run as much timing safely as the car can handle and have it come-on where it needs it most. Timing = power.

Tuning is the single most important factor to making your car as fast as possible with whatever mods you have IMO.

The GT500 also has a supercharger on it. I dont think you will get 40rwhp from a tune on a N/A car

if your going to update the predator firmware, you'll
want to do that, before you even get it near your
vehicle.

Yes you should be able to use it no prob....I had the C&L canned tunes and then went to dougs....anybody saying you are gaining a few HP is an idiot who hasnt tried them.....it was night and day difference. I felt a small gain with the canned tune but my god its a different car alltogether now. I agree if you are going to add some more mods and planned on dyno tuning it then just wait though. That is the best tune you will get.

+1. and also, you don't have to spend the entire $185 for the three tune pack if you don't want. i purchased just the 93 octane performance tune for my setup from doug and it was like 70 bucks.

Alright cool, well I'm going now to load the predator 87 performance tune for the stock intake. I hope I feel a little difference. I think ill just wait until I get the pullies and C&L to get the dyno tune.

I can't get the predator to work on my car. Do I have to hit the Restore Original Backup under the options menu because it was used on my friends car before mine?
