Guess my RWHP

Some of the estimates are higher than I thought, are you all taking into account the automatic transmission?
I have been hoping for something over 300, that is the goal, but I am afraid I will end up in the 290s somewhere.
07SCGT - In addition to the headers and UDPs I am soon installing, I already have the intake and tune.
I am hoping with, for instance, a baseline of 255 + 25 (cai & tune) + 15 (headers) + 5 (UDPs) = 300 RWHP.
I know this is ricer math, but at least it is relatively conservative ricer math, right?

On a serious note, I think you should be in the ballpark of 290-300 with a good tune. Make sure you post them numbers when you get it done because I have been curious about the same mods and potential numbers on my car.

With a CAI and tune I would say that 280-285RWHP for Dynojet 270-275 for a Mustang Dyno. BTW all of my pulls have been on a Dynojet, including my friends.
Reasoning behind it is if you take the crank horse power (300) add the 25 (cai & tune) + 15 (headers) +5 (UDPs) = 345 crank HP X 17% drivetrain loss for Auto = 286.3RWHP
JGT- I would say get a money pool going and you (the house) takes 10% for running it. You just might get the money for the mods....

Yes get 8-10 more stickers, that will also help with aerodynamics....

RE: Guess my RWHP
Yeah, I forgot to clarify which dyno, I am not sure what kind it is. I forget the differences, I know one dynos much lower than the other (I think the Mustang dyno is lower than the Dynojet).
But isn't there a more common one that is usually assumed on these forums when people are throwing around HP numbers? The one where stock cars are all dynoing above 250 RWHP? Is that the Dynojet?
Also, when you say headers give 15 HP, is that RWHP or crank HP? I always thought it was RWHP.

RE: Guess my RWHP
Numbers are numbers.... .
Id just got with the seat to pants.
I see a lot of real dyno sheets but the numbers look so inflated. Ive seen over 335 with cai tune headers udps ..... I think without forced induction or camor nos 300 is a real real solid number with these cars. I think the number you want to look at is your 1/4 mile time. If you have those mods with gears and you know how to power brake you should be able to run high 12s on a good day(and you hook up). I think when you say you have a high 12 sec car thats a lot more impressive than any number.
