Default Pulling the trigger on an intake/tune. Anything I should know?

So after a year and a half, I've finally decided on the JLT II and tune from Brenspeed. I've read a lot on here about intakes etc, and I'm going to get that one.But Iwas wondering if there's any suggestions or advice that you guys have that could help me out.

Mine is coming in this afternoon.
Gawd, it's gonna be a long day.
2 things I'd suggest -
Doublecheck your strategy code and make sure it hasn't been 'stealth' updated by a dealer before you flash the custom tune.
If it has, contact the folks at Brenspeed and they'll set you up with updated tunes.
I've read that the JLT can be a bit tricky to fit.
From what I can tell, you'll have less frustration if you don't tighten anything down until you have the whole unit in place and lined up.

Congrats and have fun!
I'm just now getting mine after a year.

easy install, just line everything up like you want it then tighten it down last, you won't be dissappointed.

You made a good choice! I have the C&L and Brenspeeds tune but I've heard both are great. You will not be disappointed with the tune either. Enjoy!

Mine just came in from the 'Name Who Cannot Be Uttered In This Forum'.
And sho enough, the Ford dealer performed a stealth update on the PCM when I had itin for state inspection a couple months ago.

True dat!
I was so looking forward to this weekend.
I'm hoping I'll hear back from Doug before the day's out.
