My 1/4mile dissapointment!
I g-teched for the first time since i've had my mustang last weekend
I was expecting low 14's, the results were devastating, i got 16.4!!!!!
I drive an 07 automatic GT 3.31 gears, fully stock, 20" American racing wheels.
I knew the wheels were going to slow me down but i never expected it to be so drastic.
I ran twice, first time i just bottomed it at the go,... second i reved up to 2-3k both were around 16.4 .
Does anyone else on 20" have such awfull times?

I think that figure is inaccurate.
I can't say for sure because I've never used a G-tech
I bet that having a passenger with a stop watch would be more accurate than a g-tech.
I would read the documentation for the g-tech, maybe it needs to be calibrated or something.

I had some problems with my g tech also the first times i tried it... i was getting times like a V6.
The problem in my case was the street.
First you need to check that the street isnt in a slight uphill or downhill, or the readings wont be acurate, this is very very important.
then you need to check if its concrete or asphalt, cause if u have excesive wheelspin the results will suck hardcore too.
When u get this 2 things covered u will get nice times. For being stock and with 20´s u should be doing low 14´s.
Goodluck

they can be inaccurate, back when i had a 02 v6 mustang,me,my brother and our friend went out and ran our cars.my 02 v6,i ran 16.7,not bad for a v6,then my brother in his 98 gt,16.1,not good, then our friends in his 89 5.0 lx,he ran a 16.4,something had to be wrong.i knew that me and the 89 would be close but the 98 gt should have down alot better.i don't always trust those g-techs.
