Default S & B CAI??

Im looking into buying a CAI for my 06 GT. I know most of the intakes out require a tune. I heard the S & B intake doesn't? Also woundering if any body has this intake and what they think of it?

I liked the S&B, I had it in my '07 GT. My wife has the K&N air intake (doesnt require tune either) I like the K&N better. The S&B was cheaplly made. Go for the K&N !
Changing the intake will make a huge difference. When you add a tunner later, will be even better, but intake alone is a good source for butt dyno. You will love it !

Airaid nd C&L make cai's which dont require a tune although I cant see why you wouldnt want the tune which is by far the most imortant part. You'll see maybe 5-7hp with just the cai, you'll see closer to 25-30hp range if you get a custom tune along with it. Believe me it really wakes it up and you can return to stock when needed.

I did notice better low end torque with the K&N. Get the CAI and when u have extra cash get the tunner. Of course both are better, so is a supercharger. heeheee. CAI is a good start.

To get the most for your money buy the Tuner/CAI combo from B amachips or Brenspeed.....
