Default CEL Help!

Well, over the last few days my car had been idling rough and the motor seems "unbalanced" like a vibration around 1k rpm's. I was running the b ama 92 torque tune and so I switched to a fresh 92 performance tune. NO DIFFERENCE. Decided i'd throw the old intake back on and run the stock tune only to get a CEL. I looked it up with my SCT and it was P0301 which is a "misfire detected".

I called the dealership and they can't get me in until next week. Does anyone have any idea what would cause this? Thanks!

if it were mine, i'd probably

disconnect neg bat cable
pull the plugs, inspect, clean if necessary, reinstall
reseat all of the coil over plugs
reconnect neg bat cable
drive the car and see if the problem persists

do this only if your comfortable with it

Thanks hammeron. I'm comfortable doing that, but the car is under warranty.....as long as they don't find out I had a CAI on it.....so I have an appt. to bring it in on Monday. The service guy said it could just be a bad tank of fuel or a plugged injector or something. He also said it was probably just a misfire....which is correct.

Does anyone else have any ideas what it could be besides an injector?

It seems that your problem isn't cai/tune related since it came right back with the stock intake and stock tune installed. This is something the dealer can figure out. Probably a bad spark plug, coil, or fuel injector.
