I read somewhere on the internet a few months ago that if you put Intake Suspension and slicks on an s197 mustang you can get into the 12s? True?

Well you would need a good tune with the intake and even then it would take a really good driver and some luck to get into the 12's. Pobably very low 13's, but add some pullies and gears and you will be in the high 12's.

When i just had intake + tune ( evolution) and flow masters. i ran a 13.4 thats with everything else stock. one super ****ty track that was sandy. the rear end was swaying around down the track.

I remember an article where they took an auto and a stick mustang- added slicks, C&L intake, Predator Tune, driveshaft, and swaybar delete. And hit the twelves. The auto hit the twelves right off the bat with just a 3000 stall converter.

It would be nice if it was that easy!
I want the least amount of upgradesthat will give me the quickest results.

It is that easy if the driver is very good. Getting the power to the ground and not spinning the tires when racing is key IMO. High 12's is possible.
