Default Got Bitten by the Racing Bug

Yesterday was the Flashlight Drags held at a small airport near where I live, all I have to say is amazing fun, more fun than I have had in quite a long time. I met a ton of really nice people, and raced a ****e load of mustangs, and one SRT/8 Jeep Cherokee, which spanked my *** by the way.

But I'd like to send a shout out to Brenspeed, I raced quite a few other mustangs, with a ton of success.

Glad to hear your experience was so much fun...I have not been to the drags in a while...my neighbors around here in their Vettes, STS, Charger, etc keep challenging me and when I ask them toset a date they always have something else to do...oh well I get to the road courses enough to keep my speed bug happy

Find a smaller local AP and it shouldnt be too hard to arrange, especially if its some type of annual event. I wish there was more stuff like that here.

Flashlight Drags are held at the really small county airports in the western PA. Like the airports that only fly cessna's out of them or ultralights etc etc. The biggest plane here is a two engine piper, actually prettu cool plane, actually one almost just like the one Richie Valens and Buddy Holly and the Big Bopper flew in.

Anyways Tons of fun

It'd be nice if we could do this at out local airport twice a month or something. Our airport is even smaller than those I think.

Yes it's a Fund Raiser for the Airport and of coarse there is some kickback to flashlight drags. Check out thier website, they run the events at the airports. Totally leagal, totally insured yada yada yada.
