Hey Guys,
I still havent decided on which charger i should get.
In fact i havent even decided if i should turbo or charge.
There have been a lot of treads on Saleen,Whipple and Kenne Bell chargers.
Roush seems the have a good name on other mustangforums.
What are you experiences with Roush twinscrew superchargers?..
Thanks.
Dien

Check out this article from FPRR on why they prefer Twin Screw over Roots

not dissing anyone that has it, but its just not my thing...
the problem is its too damn small, and not a twin screw.
the trouble is with higher boost, it gets hellaciously hot, and its too damn small

Only get the Roush if you want the warranty. That's what I did. Otherwise do it right and get a Whipple or Kenne Bell.

I'd be more than happy to put a roush SC on my car if they didn't want so much freaking money for it. If you want to blow your engine or replace it with a forged short block and crank up the boost, then the roush is probably not for you. Of course at it'scurrent prices it's not for anyone IMO, you can get a saleen much cheaper.
jrm1900, you have a whipple @ 12psi on the stock engine? How long do you expect that to hold up? I'm assuming that's good for over 450rwhp, but maybe not.

I have one on my 06, works perfectly so far, problem is that it is very expensive, but you get to keep the warrenty and Roush makes a very quality product
Well, if you can name any other kit that gives you a 3-year warranty, I'd like to hear it.
For many people, that is a big factor.
Also, the level of engineering put into those kits (on a total system level mind you) is unmatched.
One vote FOR the Roush kit.
