i was bout to trade in my 06 4.0 autofor a 07 manual gt, but i was just wondering what kind of 1/4 mile times id be lookin at i plan on keeping it stock and i got thefactory 3:55 gearing option. so i was wondering what would you guys estimate the 1/4 mile to be?

I'd say 13.5 for a coupe, a little slower for the heavy vert.
p.s. you ain't keepin sh*t stock lol...we all said that in the beginning!!!

13.5....good track and good driver mod maybe....otherwise anything around 13.7-14 is normal

LOL I wasnt gonna do alot of things when I first bought this car. Nope never not gonna put on an sc, nope never, dont need gears, hell since its under warranty I wasnt gonna do a tune either LOL. You cant keep it stock its just plain nature that you will mod it now the only part you need to decide is to what extent you want to mod. BTW my mod list gets bigger the more I own it

well i knew the stock gt with the standard 3:31 gears ran 13.5 but i thought the 3:55 would put me at maybe 13.3 my 4.0 runs 14.3 and its an auto but the gt im gonna lease cause im waitin till the camaro comes or i might juss buy out the lease in the end. not sure

I agree......especially with the 3.31....i dont think you have a chance to get 13.5

my last quarter-mile discussion over in street/strip almost got me tossed off MF so I'm gonna sit the rest of this one out as far as that goes...still say you WILL mod, we all do it...I myself remember driving the car home and saying "it's perfect...and I'm gonna keep it all FORD!" yeah, right...
