Ok, so what if you leave your suspension alone..(not lowering) will the pinion angle be changedat all??/ also, wonder what the gains would be with adding this shaft and a new Torque converter. I know it will take away some of that parasitic loss..hmmm>>>dang it...cant mod for a year though....[>:]

Yes, itcould still change the pinion angle...the stock is a two piece with a joint in the middle, the Spyder is a one piece...however the spyder kit comes with everything you will need to adjust (if its out).

Besides...why wouldnt you want to lower the car and get rid of the offroad look?

I include all the hardware for the driveshaft install but the adjustable UCA and suspension stuff I don't sell. Try Lethal, Dyno Joe, JDM etc. they can hook you up with the necessary components if you need them. most cars (97% to be exact) are okay without adjusting the pinion angle but i still let everyone know it is a possibility. the 3 or so cars i've run into that needed adjusting were all lowered 1.5" or more so they needed to be set back to normal after messing with the geometry by lowering it. my advise is install and try it. if you are lowering the car then budget in an adjustable UCA so you can correct the pinion angle once you drop the car.
the driveshaft won't change the pinion angle but installing a shorter spring will.
Everyone that has track tested the driveshaft has gained at least 2 tenths. Dyno Joe did one at the FFW louisianna race and gained about 4 tenths with that car but i can safely say expect 2 tenths mostly in the first 1/8 mile.
cheftjpeck: with the combo of gears, higher stall converter and my driveshaft(along with a tune from b.a.m.a.) you can expect mid 12's in good air with drag radials.
I've run a best of 12.29 @ 110.9 N/A with a stock longblock and some bolt-ons nothing crazy just suspension stuff and the usual mods.

It's made from the same 6061 T6 aircraft aluminum and has the big spicer ujoints just like most of the other guys use so durability and strength should be the same. no failures to date and don't expect any.
