launch
U really dont ahve to worry about it with an auto man..with teh factory stall, you shouldnt have any problems...just dont rev it enough to get the tires spinning, find out where they barely start, and drop about 200 rpms off that...
Plus its a V6, you wont have near as much of a hard time as I would launching...
If youre on street tires, make it lower, if on drag radials, you can up it some, and if on dot slicks, its all go pretty mcuh...

haha, on street tires, try launching from 2000-2500.
I got mine with 4.10s already, and it was a b!tch to launch oin street tires, i burned into third even feathering, but im not stock...
My best advice would be to go out on some back road, with a decent surface and test it out, see where your sweet spot is, too low of an RPM, and youll bog down, too high and youll burn
Every car has a little bit of a different one...mine happens to be from 5500-6000 (mickey e.t. streets)

When I went to the track I was launching at 4Krpms and I was running better times than I was when I luanched at 2K. The downside to this was that I could smell a burning clutch but then the upside to that is an upgraded clutch!
There's no single universal rpm which will give the best launch.
The best launch rpm depends on a number of factors, like traction(condition and prepping of the track), altitude(higher = less hp & torque), weather(higher temperature & humidity = less hp & torque), tire type(stock = lower launch rpm typically), rear end weight(amount of gas in the tank; spare tire, jack, and stereo amps in the trunk or not),engine hot or cooled down(ECU pulls timing for a hot engine),gearing(higher number = lower launch rpm typically), & slipping the clutch a lot or not, just to name a few.
The best thing to do is practice launching either on an isolated road or a deserted parking lot to get a feel for the car, and then go to the track. Initially, things may be ugly at the track, but don't get frustrated. You will get better with time, experience, and practice.
