Does OD slow the car down in earlier gears? Or does it just open up a fifth gear?

just gets you to 5th, in my aforementioned run, I just wanted to make sure it didn't upshift to 5th when I didn't want it to....

I still don't think there's any kind of "speed limiter" on these cars based on my exp....

I have definately found a speed limiter in my car. Granted I have a MTX and you are ATX, but the limiter was at ~150. 4th gear pulled to 138 to the rev limiter and 5th gear got me to 150 at a little more than 4500RPM and then it definately cut out.

Are you sure it was a limiter or just running out of HP like I felt on my one run where I let it go into OD?

I have got to find somewhere (preferably downhill, LOL) to run it in 5th and see if it really does "shut down".

It definately shutdown... when i was stock i couldn't tell, but after i put on my off road H i could definately feel it shut down
