Someone should write a letter to 5.0 and ask - this question still seems to not be answered 100%, and maybe a major publication like that has the connections with people in the know to get a good determination as to how much the stock internals will handle confortably. Or maybe we can make them sacrifice a test car and boost it till it grenades!

How much is Ford charging for that warranty? You can get the supercharger from brenspeed for $4200 with everything and install it yourself. So how much is this vortech/ford venture costing?

I think he mispelled it. The supercharger is "Vortech". The chevy engines are called Vortec. Basically like Ford calling their engines Triton.

sorry for the misspel. the car is going to go for ~$50k! It has alot of upgrades. I will list them when I get home tonight.

Thats not how you calculate RWHP...its not Crank X .85...

Thats at stock...so for a manual, its 300 X .85...255, so the driveline is robbing 45 HP...it will continue to only rob 45...even at 700HP...it only take 45 HP...it does not steal in percentages...

So at 510 crank, its going to be 465WHP
