Default BORLA EXHAUST

ok im ready to buy my exhaust.. i am looking at the M-5230-5GT from ford racing or the 11750 which i am told is the same one lol
but there is a big price difference.. i am told the difference is that the ford racing one does not say borla on the tips.. and thats about it..
any one here agree? and another small question is .. do both these systems work on automatic as well as manual?????

Ford Racing ones have Ford Racing stamped on the tip instead of borla but are the same.

If you compare, (from the catalogs) Ford is less expensive, and they do ask if you have a manual or auto. The Steeda exhausts are the same also, and the least expensive, (And have Steeda stamped on the tops of tips), more choices!!

I've been looking at the Borla and the Ford Racing p/n's you mentioned also and just asked a similar question. Now that I looked at the Steeda axle-back, it LOOKS like the Steeda doesn't have the rolled tips but other than that they seem the same. I found the Ford Racing prices comparable to the Borla for those p/n's you stated, both in the $489 range, give or take.

Since this thread is basically discussing something I was curious about. I thought I'd drop a question. I have a 07 GT convertible ad was thinking about going with long tube headers, adding some sort of mid pipes, or cat back exhaust. Looked at the Borla exhaust because I knew a girl that had a 96 GT with Borla exhaust and it sounded great. Unfortunately, my mustang is my everyday driver and I need it to pass emissions. Any sugestions? Any info on headers, mid pipes, etc, beyond whats already herewould be greatly appreciated.
