Default Oxy Code

If someone were to get a P0133, oxygen sensor response too slow(sensor 1 by the way), what do you think the chances would be that the problem with the sensor is due to the hearter circuit being too weak Just due to the fact that after the vehicle warms up, the O2 sensor responds properly. Initially the peak voltage does not raise high enough and the low voltagedoes not get closeenough to zero.I know that the probability is slim also because there is a seperate code for the heater circuit itself, I was just hoping to get some other views on this problme

Don't know if this will help at all, but back after Katrina when Bush loosened refining standards, my BMW was throwing the same code off and on for about a month, but then it went away - seemed to be fuel related.. but yes, to the dealer -

Ok, this was the situation, I work at a dealership, I encountered thiscode and proved the O2 sensor to be bad. It was just a question I asked myself and semi answered it, but I wasasking all you guys because I waswanting to see if anyone agreed or had a different opinion/theory...

I have that fault for both banks, but i am definately not stock... i thought my longtubes were causing it at first, then i thought running a percentage of 112 thru my tank while racing was causing it. i did believe replacing the sensors would fix it though when i installed my headers i had to put a new pre cat oxygen sensor on, so i is not that old... not sure if i have the heater circuit faults, benn awhile since i checked.

That is the normal cause for the light.
