Anyone have all pypes?
Anyone have the Pypes x-pipe, and Pypes violator a/b?
Just wanted to see if you like it, and do you recommend it?
Please dont tell me to look at the Exhaust thread.
Already been thru it multiple times.
Just want a little more info that I can't get from that.
Thanks!

RE: Anyone have all pypes?
After getting a dyno tune and talking with my tuner about it, I wouldn't get the off road H or X for power reasons. You'll basically get up to 5 hp on a good daywith an off road setup compared to stock cats. He showed me many dyno charts he has done (on our cars) to prove it. I'm at 311 hp and 325 tq and he had done some other cars with the same setup as mine less the OR/Hand got 310 hp and about the same tq I believe.
Having said that, I love the off road H. It's LOUD, and sounds real good.

Nice, See my girlfriends buying it for me, The big B-day present.
I dont want her to get something im not goning to like.
Ithink I might gowith this setup.
Maybe minus the mid-pipe first and just go a/b see howI like it.
IfI like, might just stay a/b, If not get theH or X. Haven't decided that yet.

RE: Anyone have all pypes?
I had the pypes offroad x and violator axle back. nothing fit right. I had to end up have the muffler pipes cut and welded on to get them to seal. Also the first x pipe they sent did not fit at all. They replaced it with another x pipe that fit but was of very POOR quality. I have to say that the x pipe and violator AB sounded like absolute crap. very very loud but not the good kind. I just sound like a lot of noise. And the trumpeting effect at certain RPM's was unreal, not to mention the horror of what the engine sounded like if u put it in gear and let off the gas to slow down (engine braking). I took the xpipe off chopped it up and chopped up my stock pipe to make an offroad H pipe. Sounds a million times better than the X pipe. I also found that the customer service was horrible, as was the quality of the machining and material of the pipe. I would not recomend PYPES brand anything to anyone.

RE: Anyone have all pypes?
I got the pypes offroad x pipe and it fit like garbage as well. Nothing lined up and it set way toward the driver side when installed. Also haveSLP loudmouths. The combination sounded like a mid 80s 5.0 beater with open headers. The drone was horrible and it was way too loud. I put the x pipe on at work, drove 40 miles home and took it back off in favor on the factory cats and h pipe. The SLPs sound great by theirselves. Also, with that combination and no back pressure on the exhaust, lost a lost of low end torque after i installed the x pipe.
