I was running these on my 02 GT and they were great. That was until a 2 x 4 messed up one of the motors. But they do seal well and move quick.

Opens a valve that then lets the exhaust out before it runs through the mufflers. It's like running open headres with the flip of a switch.

Pretty much.
Even some tracks won't let you run them open if it's a street legal event.

In personal experience and research, i've found QTP's are horrible. They broke in little over a year. I then switched to DMHperformance.com cutouts. They come wiht a 4yr warranty and get replaced if theres ever a problem. Several ClubRSX members have used it with great success also and zero leaks. Some had some accidents with debris on the road but DMH replaced it out of goodwill.

Check them out, best E-Cutout for the money.
