Does anyone have the Ford Racing 4.6L replacement heads for S197, they come ported and boast gains of 50 to 60 HP ?
I think rpmoutlet.com sells them for about $1200 a side and are a direct replacement, I got a quote in town for head porting and it was at least$2500 plus two weeks without my car!

Anybody know anyone running these ? Worth it ? Does Ford Racing warranty these ? thanks

according to MMFF, they kill 30 ft lbs of torque all the way up to 4500 RPM.


and it takes till like 5400 RPM for them to make any power.

Yeah I would go with the livernois ones or call Fox Lake and see what they can do for you. I dont think they sell ported heads but I could be wrong.

 

Livernois has some new head cores ported and polished. They have up to three stages. Don't remember the cost though but it sure below $2K each.

 

Sorry I was referring to Fox lake not having ported heads. Yeah livernois has pretty much stock heads that they port out but they flow alot better than stock.
