500? probably if you arent into doing stereo work
1000? no... a proffesional installer could do a ton better to a base system than what this costs. It doesnt even sound that great for the money.

Hmm, I just realized you are probably talking about the shaker hoods, not the audio systems.
In that case, it seems they are more for good looks than performance

I have read it is more for looks than anything but I am sure and few ponies are realized when using the shaker system.......it definitely doesn't hurt anything but I feel the money is better spent on something else. JMO

I got mine for free so I did it.I didnt see any gain from a stop/dig.But I did see a differance after 70mph.It was a bit more peppy.So it does help but not drasticly.Our motors are starved for air so running more air to the air box/CAI is a good thing.Like said previously,it cant hurt...

Our local guy fits a lot of them......runs it to the CAI box......not that much gain from the ones I've driven with regular CAI. Like folks say, maybe at higher speeds.
