Default irregular idle

I have an irregular idle and it always gives me a rough hesitation when I take off. I checked my throttle body for gunk, but it's clean. Can someone refresh my memory about how to get my car to relearn it's idle? I don't know what else to look for or try.

Coulld try disconnecting the battery for about 20 min so it goes back to the basic parameters. But if you know someone with a scanner I'd check it for codes fist or you will lose them when you disconnect the battery.

You might also want to try getting a bottle of STP Complete Fuel System Cleaner, its supposed to fix rough idleing and hesitation if its from build up of crud. But definatly disconnect the battery for at least 20 minutes.

When you checked your T.B did you open the blades and look behind them?
I know when I had this same problem and was checking the T.B I really couldn't
see all the black gunk behind the blades, but after one wipe the rag came out black!
-Not saying you didn't check it right, but might just not seen the gunk at first like me!
P.S Have you check for vacuum leaks?

I took the throttle body off and there was a little bit of black on the rag. That was it. I'm going to put one of my other tunes in and see if it still does it. If it does, maybe I could squirt soapy water on my vacuum lines and look for bubbling.

I found out my problem. I loaded a tune back in from JDM and it runs great. It was the CUSTOM dyno tune I got up in Byron, Ill. I e-mailed the guy and he said he would fix the tune next week for free. Just makes me mad, because it cost me 350 bucks and a 2 hour drive to get there. Should I bother driving all the way back out there?

Live and Learn. Just for those who didn't have a bad tune I would like toshare that I had a code P506 (Know it my heart) and I believe it was caused by octane boosters as people try to tell me here and the manualsays the same . I got my system professionally cleaned and no problem since. Now I actually use a cleaner occasionally.
