Dont have the x pipe but I do have the violaters axle-back and will only warn you that I get significant drone between 1500-2000 rpm. I really dont like it personaly, I plan on putting on some resonators to help fully get rid of it.

Good luck and welcome.

It is a Mustang... It is supposed to drone...

MAC's are the greatest sounding though. [8D]

As I have read posts I think some cars drone more than others, and some people have a higher tolerance for drone as well.

Mine is real bad for about 500 rpms then goes away completely. It kind of stinks because it is between 45-60mph in 5th. Currently I just keep it in 4th till about 55mph which is about 2700rpms. Higher then I generally like to cruise but I am living with it. My next mod is a S/C and I am not spending a penny on any mods till after that.

The resonators should be put in after your mid pipe before the axle. I plan on using dynomax bullets when the time comes.

Good luck.

Pypes violator and off road X = absolute crap.....seriously I thought someone had traded my car in and I was now driving a honda with a fart can. Really raspy and just made NOISE not a good sound, just extremely loud Noise

Pypes violator and off road H = Pure Bliss, deep muscle car sound Not nearly as loud as the X.

BTW in dealing with the pypes company I experienced some of the worst customer service that I have ever received and the machine work that goes into making this exhaust looks like it was outsourced to india. When I received my 3rd replacement X I still had to debur it and the flanges were very rusty. The violator axle back wasa good product and fit right the first time. But I will never buy another part from them again.
