by the way, where are the three missing fan blades?
Hopefully stuck in the intercooler.
Seriously...I was getting pretty concerned about that!

i'm not surprised. This is a common problem with Turbonetic turbos for long periods of time. They've tried improving their oil seals and offer 1yr. warranties to try to uphold their products. Thats good service, but still does not cover up their history poor reliability in their products. I've used many turbo parts in the past and i will refuse to use anything from Turbonetics. whether it be wastegates, bov, etc. I'd be worried about how i'm going to replace the turbo after a year once the warranty is up.

I'd replace the turbo with a similar sized Precision or Garett or even a Mistubishi turbo on the Hellion setup. Also, replace the T-netics WG for Tial.

Best insurance against it from happening again is to ensure (if u already dont know):
-Proper cooling down time before shutting off car
-Use of full synthetic oil
-More frequent oil change intervals

Trust me I have a turbo timer set at 5 minutes
Use full synthetic
and change my oil every 1000 miles

This problem came out of nowhere.

Ahh gotcha, so they're not sending you a brand new one.

since you taken the precautions, its definitely the Turbonetic's seal issues as with all the other turbonetics-related problems i've seen. GL with the rebuild!
