Just go with an o/r x-pipe unless you live in cali. I would say bassani catted x-pipe.
would that x pipe fit other brand long tubes or only bassani long tubes?

You should be able to mix and match headers and mid pipes. Or atleast you used to be able to im not sure about the way they make them now days. I imagine it would but the dealers will say for BEST FIT use their brand x-pipe with headers to get your money.

Yes, but the JBA cats are notorious for lasting a whole week or two before their wasted.
2 years running JBA Headers and no problems. As for cats I still haven't seen any after-market "hi-flow" cats not break after a year or two in a car. I personally went catless because I prefer to lay down 20$ to pass inspection than to have an aftermarket cat break on me and clogged up the exhaust and screwing up the engine. Just my 2 cents.

Get an off road X or H for what ever headers you get and then have the Magnaflow high flow cats installed seperately. I did it with my JBA LT's and an off road h and it ended up being 40.00 cheaper then if I had bought the catted H.

any midpipe you buy now will fit the stock shorty headers.....so when you get longtubes, no midpipe will fit without cutting it down.

i plan on buying the x pipe made for the long tubes then when i have the cash for long tubes i will install them. it would be easier for me to buy them separately

Sorry, my mistake, I thought he was doing both at the same time and wanted to mix header and midpipe.
