I had those o-rings as well, and they were broken. I'm glad people are saying they have them too because I thought I had a hell of a mess on my hands.

Either i'm getting old or this is a lot of work! I got the blower on, but didn't get to put the fuel rail and injectors back in yet. So tomorrow I have to install fuel rail, mount intercooler pump, run intercooler lines (I allready mounted the heat exchanger). Install fuel pumps. Not to mention extend the maf/tps wires. Don't think you will do this all in one day, that's for sure.

When I went to put the blower on I had the wife get on one side and help me lower it down. Well I figured I'd put the *** in first and everything was great until the front wouldn't go down and the intercooler lip was resting on the lip of the intake manifold. needless to say the back of the blower was hitting the firewall. So I got up on the engine, one foot on each strut tower, and lifted the front and back of the blower and it fell right in.

I'm tired! I didn't even get the throttle body back on yet![:@]

Hammeron. Does the lower heater hose go around the passenger side of the engine and connect to the ****** fitting on the new coolant crossover? The directions don't mention it at all, but I have a pretty good idea that's where it connects.

moose, are you referring to this....

if so, then yes. one of the heater hoses comes form the
firewall and connects there....

No rush. I doubt i'll be done tomorrow. I still have to wire my gauges and install them.

Here's a pic of the tear down. I wish I had of gotten that 10mm ratcheting wrench now. Tightening those compressor bolts are a pain. How does whipple expect you to get a torque wrench in there? I could only get two bolts on each side torqued using a swivel adapter, maybe if I had 3/8 inch torque wrench I could get 3 torqued. For the others I used my trusty 10mm wrench and guessed by using the other two as an example.

You know what, I totally forgot about putting a towel or masking tape on the firewall, but I didn't need it.

Hammeron, Did you cut the factory fuel rail crossover line or were you able to pull it off the fuel rail? The instructions don't say.

imo, it's best to cut them.

usually one slice with a utility knife and
you can peel the line off of the fuel rail barb
