Which SC do you prefer?

RE: Which SC do you prefer?
I was surprised how I could slowly accelerate past 3k rpms and still not feel all that power kick in. I was thinking at 3k all hell would break loose no matter how hard I was mashing the pedal. I still hear the blower whine, but it accelerates smoothly just like before the SC. Is that the bypass actuator bleeding off boost?

I prefer Kenne Bell.
They have the best engineering, the most experience and the largest capacity blowers.
I have 9000 miles on my kit running at 11 PSI and I have never had a problem. Still on the original belt and my car will run 11.50 all day long. and still get 24 MPG.
Twin screws are nice and they give 0 boost until you put your foot in to it.

I love my Saleen for warranty 3/36K can't be beat. Twin screw has the torque throughout the power band meaning just of idle you will have 50HP more than the centris, however about 3-3.5K RPM they catch up to us. It really depends what you wan't though. The twin screws with the steaper gears (3.73's-4.30's) have a tough time launching at the track on the 1/8th and 1/4 miles because the torque is so high at idle.

and after a centri catches the TS it keeps pulling.... almost every TS dyno sheet I'v seen the power curve flattens in the upper end. my motor was still pulling when the tuner let off @ 6350 RPM... so IMO a centri as the ability to be stay with any TS.... in fact I know two guys with blown 05+ GTs, one with a KB the other with a Vortech.... plus other mods.... both run 11.8x best in the 1/4.....
my motor makes about 175 hp and 295 ft lbs around 3000 (mustang dyno)
and looking at a few sheets in:
https://mustangforums.com/m_2625816/tm.htm
seems like the TS's (with at least 8psi)
do make about 20-25 more HP and 60-75 more ft lbs at 3000.. they dyno sheets usually dont start much below that... but when a TS is flattening a Centri is pulling......
Bottom line IMO.... bot are tremendous fun! and you'll be happy with either one...

If you dont want to tap your oil pan and want something diffrent go with the new Paxton Novi 2200SL HO. Its self contained and can support up to 1000hp. I have decided this is the route I'm going with after alot of research.
Here are the reasons:
1-No tapping of the oil pan
2-Plenty of growing room-can support up to 1000hp
3-Little or no engine stress while street driving with TS motors see boost at 2000rpm This is cruising range with 3:73 gears
4-More drag freindly no big hit on the bottom end during launch but plenty of steam up top where you need it. Racing is for the track not the street.
5-Costs less
6-40 years in the business Paxton was supercharging the 1st Shelby Mustangs
7-I've owned a Paxton before and never had any issues such as belts, leaks, pullies, etc. and the power and sound was great.
8-Last but not least a little easier to return to stock if I had a warrenty issue or wanted to sell the car (not going to happen)
Just my opinion

11.50's all day longis very decent/nice on a stock 3 valve stock block imo sounds like you have to be very close to (480+) to 500rwhp?
Is that a manual?
What gear?
What is your afr ?
Would you by any chance know ACT's
