Default MGW vs Hurst Short Throws

I recently had the FRPP Hurst short throw shifter and just today installed the MGW. First judgement, WOW The makeup of the MGW is so solid. The Comparison: First and foremost powershifting is an absolute breeze with this shifter, hands down, i'd get lucky to hit 2nd and/or 3rd with the Hurst. Went on a quick test run and hit 2nd and 3rd twice holding my foot to the floor the entire time. By this time I had a huge grin on my face. [8D]I may not even install the K member brace and torque limiters. Not too sure at this point. The MGW isMUCH stiffer than the Hurst moving in Neutral, I could wobble the crap out of the hurst in neutral and had a tough time getting it into first and reverse the first time with the MGW. I set my throw to 6 turns on the linkage which is a 35% reduction. The smoothness of the MGW is flat out insanely better than the hurst. You still feel a bit of notchiness but nowhere near the hurst. Overall MGW receives an A+ frommyself.

Weird, I never had any problem finding 2nd and 3rd with my Hurst, and it's not wobbly in neutral.

not really wobbly but moved from side to side very easily and with hardly any effort. With the mgw you have to put alot more effort to move from side to side in neutral.

also switched from hurst to MGW. So much better - can't even compare.

Yeah I went the el cheapo route and got the hurst. Not a good racing shifter. It goes into gear with a very deliberate "thunk" like a deadbolt turning. Powershifting definitely out. Oh well, better than factory and the white ball is pretty cool, I can shift with just my thumb and first two fingers
