Gear Install HELP PLEASE
So here's the scoop... I'm putting in an aluminumDriveshaft that requires that I change the companion flange at the rear end...so since I'm doing that anyway... I'm gonna put in some 3.73's (I plan onsupercharging next year so I don't wanna go 4.10's [8D])....
How's the install on gears [&:]? I'm pretty good with my hands...no formal training or anything...but I hate the concept of paying for things that I can do on my own...(plus I'm cheap...lol)
PLEASE HELP! ANY AND ALL ADVICE REQUESTED!!!!!!!!!

RE: Gear Install HELP PLEASE
I would not attempt the gear change, you'll be better off spending the 300 for an expert to install. If you dont believe me just do asearch and spend the next week reading about gear whine[&:]

i would like you to do your own
gears. it's about time someone

it.
do a taco style write up and you will
forever be praised

RE: Gear Install HELP PLEASE
I'd pay to have the gears done. Heard of too many problems with people trying to do them themselves or even problems with "professional" install. Take it to a shop that's well known for doing gears.
