Default Mac it is

Ok after months of pondering what axleback i should pair with my o/r h that i have sitting in my room i finally ran across some clips that completely make up my mind, might want to add this to the official exhaust thread! The contestants were violators, flows, and macs. But to me Macs take the cake. This is the exact sound i want. Anybody else agree this sounds sick?

Honestly, after much searching, the best combo I could find is the stock exhaust with Boom tubes.

Only heads up I would give anyone from listening to clips is be aware of the drone factor, lots of mufflers sound good but also have a painful drone at certian rpm's. I'd pay attention the "official s197 exhaust thread" on this issue. Took me 2 sets of mufflers to sort it out.

You'll love the MACs dude! They get louder with headers too. MACs are for the guy that wants to stand out from the crowd since they are louder than flows, borlas, corsas, FRPP mufflers, magnaflows. We had a GT500 down atour speed shop that the guy put borlas on and they sounded like crap man...too quiet for that monster. I just went on a cruise with some other 05+ stangs to a big Mustang show and when we pulled in everyone was revving the engines for attention and they ignored all the flows guys, but loved my exhaust...and I think flows sound good...just too quiet. Alot of the guys that frequent the shop have MACs too. They sound really wicked. They do drone between 1800 and 2000 rpm, but it's the price you pay if you want to sound like the big dog!
