I am 99% surethat the answer is yes, when you return the factory tune back into the car you also unlock the tuner for use on other mustangs.

Its not that easy,

Are the tunes just canned diablo tunes or are they B amachips tunes?

If it is just canned tunes you are ok to go, if you are using B ama tunes they are made for your car only, you can mess up another persons car if this is the case.

the canned tunes will work, the performance tune will only work if the mods are the same

Howarmat, how would using it on another car be detrimental, If the tune is for a stock gt, then it will work on any gt.

Well if they have a similar policy as brenspeed, they could just re-do your tune, even if you change cars right?

Or do they take vin #'s???

The thing is if you use it on another Mustang and say load one of the canned tunes into it, then it loads that cars stock tune into the Predator and it becomes "married" to that car. Then you can't use itto tune your car. You can still use it to do everything else (clear codes, log data, etc). What Howarmat issaying isthat loading a customized tune for one vehicle into another can have bad results (lean/rich, etc.) if the cars don't have the same mods. It doesn't have anything to do with a Brenspeed policy...it has everything with Diablo wanting to sell more tuners.
