trap speed does sound low. I've trapped that before with a 13.1

Maybe my low trap speed has something to do with my car having an automatic tranny. I know of a Mustang project or two in one of my Mustang magazines that were trapping at the same speed and they were autos. They were in the mid to high 12's trapping at 108.

It's not shifting to 5th gear by any chance is it? Make sure you turn OD off so it's not possible. I forgot you had an auto, but i'd still expect a trap in the teens.

you really should be trapt a much higher speed(pretty much what every one else is saying
There were 3 kb sc s197, plus a frpp whipple runing low 12's like ur self but at 118+ speeds.
moosestang point makes alot of sense
