Default 1st gear bouncing

I have a hard way of explaining it. But if I put it in 1st, and if I don't give it enough gas sometimes, it bounces and the whole car jerks back and forth, Until I hit the clutch and settle it back in,

Happen to anyone else? What is happening, slippage?

Since I suck at driving, I still have my car do this every once in a while. It happens mostly when the car is cold. You're either not giving it enough gas, releasing the clutch too quickly, or a combination of both.

A dirty throttle body and/or MAF sensor may also be the cause.

If I drive mine right after I start it up without giving it a couple seconds, sometimes it will jerk a little bit AFTER the clutch has been released and only at low speeds.. Is that what you're talking about (yes, plenty of gas, it's at 1500rpm or so)? I've heard a couple other people on the board have the same problem. If you let it run for a minute then you'll be fine.

I find that when my engine is very cold, the throttle is super-sensitive.

It's comparable to a bad manual-transmission driver. Just jerky no matter how you drive it.
