So i went today to a place call Lujan Motorsportsmost know around here on the Dodge world, my friend had his srt4 rebuilted there and he
recomended them to me, he said they work on all kind of cars. I first wanted to get my car tuned cuz i tought it was running bad and i also wanted
to know what it could put to the wheels. After the first run Pablo Found out the car was running lean, after a couple of runs on a hot day. he got the a/f to run perfect and said that if it wouldn't be that hot i may probably pick a couple more horses. The treatment was great and they seem to do pretty good jobs. i had a concern was that i read somewhere that when you dyno automatics you do it locking it in 4th gear or just tunring over drive off and just using drive. He used 3rd gear on mine. (just to make sure) i know this wasn't a really fine tune since he was limited to used the SCT Programmer and the parameters aveilable to change with it. he said that if i can get the tunner would give me the tune unlock he may be able to change some more thinks. ( But if i remember you need to get the tune in certain file and use the laptop and one of the sct programs to change be able to change some other parameters. dunno if brent would send me that file) anyway to much talking. im happy cuz it's my first time on a dyno. i was hoping more power but i guess i am almost stock other than the JLTCai and SLP i'm stock (suspension is completed tought.) anyway the result was 278Rwhp and 281Rwtrq. what do you guys think? is it the average for an auto.

Seems about right for an auto with those mods...get a custom tune and you will most likely see 290-295rwhp

The dyno isn't really accurate if not do not do it in 4th really....

autos get about 250 rwhp. with the JLT and tune, +28 rwhpsounds good.
my dyno reading was 291 rwhp and 302 tq. the diff btween mine and yours is the LT's and o/r x pipe, but your CAI is better than mine.

whats so special about 4th gear. i live in miami Florida, i don't know any shop around that works with mustang only. i would have to look for one.

There are many tuners around the Miami/ Ft Lauderdale area. Also Steeda is in Pompano, not too far away. Ask Lethal Performance about their tuner, he is located somewhere south. He uses Diablo tuners though...

i didn't know steeda offers dyno tunes, i imagine it should be way expensive like everything is, i have been there but you need to go with your wallet full . i'll research a little more see if i find something, at least i got the A/F fix.
