Default Pypes Violators

Do pypes violators have bad interior drone? How are the volume levels inside the cabin, are they annoying? And also, how nice do they sound at WOT? (I found them for $189 at brenspeed and would be really happy if they were good mufflers)

I have them and I like that they are not too loud at lower speed since I live in a quiet neighborhood and leave early for work. The Pypes sound great at WOT, IMO, - nice mean growl. Plus the price is right.

I had Flowmasters before the Violators and preferred the deeper rumble at regular driving speeds, but the Flows broke a baffle and I didn't want to risk a repeat.

There is some drone in the cabin <2000 rpm but it's only loud enough to be annoying if I'm in 5th and have to slow down for traffic - obviously downshifting cures the problem.

I have the pypes violator mufflers on my cat-back system and they sound fantastic. not too loud, but noticeable. there is some drone around the 1200-1800RPM range, but not enough to bother me. a quick turn of the volume dial on the radio fixes it for me

Batmobile, which was Brenspeed talking about being very loud and droning, the violators or the mid muffler system?

I bought my Violators axlebacks at Brenspeed and am happy with them. Drone is only on the highway with the windows closed at a specific throttle setting, I just vary the throttle a bit. Cabin noise level is fine, and putt-putting around with them doesn't bother any of the neighbors. They have a great sound at full throttle. I think they are a good muffler at a good price.

the guy was talking about mid mufflers. yeah, you see thats exactly what i want! stock drones a little too at certain speeds so i figure that will happen to some extent, but i dont want to be annoying all of the time. and yeah, theyre some of the most inexpensive mufflers ive found and they seem to match what i want

Batmobile, they have a unique sound. It's not classic 60's muscle car, but they sound "high-performance." I get compliments on them, andas an added benefit, the imports seem to keep their distance now!
