From GTAs to Stingers
I just replaced my GTAs by Stingers (Borla brand), and OMFG! [sm=badbadbad.gif]
I went from SLP loudmouths (too loud and "raw") to GTAs (too quiet) to Stingers, and I think I found what I was looking for. The volume of the Stingers is between the GTA and SLP LM, you will be noticed, but not obnoxious.
There is some drone around 1800-2000 RPM, but nothing head splitting, and it's easy to drive around it in a manual. Plus driving with the window down helps a lot too, and that's how I drive most of the time.
Anyway, overall I'm very happy with the swap.

I went the other way sold the borlas and put on gta's and I am very happy though I agree a bit more volume would be nice.The drone was enough that I could not carry on conversation with the borlas. I've heard some cars are worse than others, guess mine was in the worse catagory. I suspect the corsa guys are the best of both worlds, too bad they are so much $$.

In my case the Mustang is my toy car, and I have the other "family car" to carry peeps around and "have conversations"
So I can go a bit more extreme with the Mustang. [sm=icon_rock.gif]
