Get the air/fuel mixture checked.

If you're getting the mpg from the computer, then see if calculating it manually shows an improvement.

WHITE 07 THAT IS WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT. WHEN CRUISING AND THEN GETTING BACK ON THE GAS AND THERE IS NOTHING THERE. HAD A BAD FUEL PUMP IN THE '06 V6. EVEN WITH THE TUNE FOR 93 OCTANE I WAS STILL ONLY GETTING 16 MPG TOPS.

when you say "get back on the gas and there is nothing there" do you mean you floored the gas and nothing happened for a second or two? or that the car just doesn't acclerate like it should?

CAR JUST WON'T ACCELERATE FOR A SECOND OR TWO. EVEN WITH THE 93 OCTANE TUNE THERE IS STILL A WAIT. AND IT IS NOT THE LAG FROM THE ACCELERATOR. MORE OF A MISS.

im having a similar problem however i have an auto, but it lags even after transmission downshifts and is just outright sluggish. I don't see more than 13 miles per gallon

couldn't i change the a/f on my x-cal 2. i thought about doing this the other day. but not real sure what i need to change it to. i know the negative degrees is for the car to run a little lean. but i don't know how many dregress to run lean.

I was just talking about this with my g/f yesterday. I had noticed several people on this forum claiming to get 17 mpg or more. In my '07 I have never cracked higher than 14. It may be worth looking into..
