Default tuner package

i like the tuning package from brenspeed, but is there any better ones out there. i like the fact also that they eliminate most of the delay from the electronic throttle, do the others do that too?

By "better" do you mean better performance, better customer service or a cheaper price?

Probably gonna want to post some info on what mods you have now and what you intend to do in the near future.

Just search the forums for brenspeed and or CAI. I went with the BBK CAI/tuner package and loved it.

I spoke with a rep from Brenspeed and he said that they have seen the best performance gains out of the C&L/SCT combo. That is what I purchased and it is phenomenal! It is more expensive but worth every penny!

I just installed the BBK from Brenspeed and am very happy. Fits perfectly. Also installed the CMCV deletes. No problems.

I think ultimately you will be happy with any tuner/CAI combo you purchase from Brenspeed so don't sweat it too much. You get what you pay for though!

yeah, i left that kind of ambiguous. i meant more performance, because i figured that theyd all be relatively in the same price range, so if there were any out there that offered more options and more power, even if it was for a little bit more, id like to know about it

How about this answer. I wish I never bought the BBK and went right with steeda CAI. Brenspeed doesn't tune their superchargers with anything but Steeda so I wasted the money for the BBK just to turn around and a few weeks later purchase the saleen supercharger. So I wish I did buy the steeda instead of bbk. I spoke to brenspeed when I bought the BBK they said thats the package they installed the most. If he would have told me the Steeda was better i would have purchased it in a second. So does that mean the steeda cai is better then the bbk or just it's better with a supercharged application, I don't know.

Most any CAI will do about the same....the MAF size is a big factor on the gains. The tune however is where most of the gains will come, stick with VMP, Bamachips or Brenspeed. I have all three and they are all great, no question about it.
